Boat taxi Granit
From late April to mid-December, Granit offers boat taxi services and tailor-made excursions throughout the archipelago surrounding Käringön. Powered by fossil-free technology, Granit provides an environmentally friendly way to travel quickly and comfortably between the islands.
Boat taxi services are available around the clock for both short transfers and longer journeys. The most common mainland pick-up points are Hälleviksstrand, Edshultshall, Stocken and Tuvesvik, all offering convenient parking facilities.
During the summer, scheduled crossings between Hälleviksstrand and Käringön are available, along with seal safaris when weather conditions permit. Visitors can also book private excursions, ranging from swimming trips and nature experiences to lobster fishing adventures and restaurant visits on neighbouring islands.
Granit is Käringön’s only dedicated boat taxi service. The vessel is purpose-built for passenger transport, and all skippers hold the certifications and qualifications required for commercial operations.
