Sea rescue

The sea rescue station on the island was established already 1920 and the station is one of the most active in Sweden. The reason is of course the strategic location of the island and during a year the rescue station performs on average 4-500 missions.

Here on the island staff from other sea recsue stations are trained during autumn, winter and spring.
