Crêperiet
At Crêperiet, French galettes take centre stage. Savoury galettes are prepared with carefully selected ingredients, many inspired by the sea and the Bohuslän archipelago. To finish on a sweet note, freshly made crêpes are served as both desserts and afternoon treats.
The drinks menu reflects the same French influence, featuring everything from champagne and sparkling wines to premium ciders imported directly from France, along with a carefully chosen selection of wines that pair perfectly with the galettes.
With its seaside setting and relaxed atmosphere, Crêperiet has become a favourite gathering place for both returning guests and first-time visitors to Käringön.

Karingo oyster bar
Perched on the outer edge of the archipelago with sweeping views of the Måseskär Lighthouse, Karingo is a unique oyster bar where the sea takes centre stage.
Here, you can enjoy freshly harvested oysters, learn about local oyster farming and take part in oyster tastings in a spectacular coastal setting. Karingo also offers heated seawater baths and provides a memorable venue for intimate weddings and private events.
The venue has its own jetty and can be reached by private boat, or via transfer from Käringön by boat or helicopter.
Open seasonally from mid-March to June and from mid-August to December.

Hotell Käringön
With one of the island’s finest waterfront locations on Skeppersholme, Hotell Käringön and Käringöns Brygga offer sweeping views of both the harbour and the open sea. It’s a place where life slows down and the rhythm of the day is set by the weather, the waves and the archipelago around you.
Ahead of the season, both the hotel rooms and restaurant have been thoughtfully renovated. A new bar adjacent to the outdoor terrace provides the perfect spot to enjoy a drink, relax with friends or challenge someone to a game of shuffleboard.
The menu is inspired by the sea and the Bohuslän coast, featuring locally sourced ingredients such as mussels from the waters around Orust and Norway lobsters supplied by local fishermen.

Petersons krog
Set among the granite cliffs and open seascapes of the Bohuslän archipelago, Petersons Krog is one of Käringön’s most cherished dining destinations.
The menu is inspired by the sea and the changing seasons, with fish and shellfish taking centre stage. Meat and vegetarian options are also available, and the offerings evolve throughout the year – from summer seafood feasts and the autumn lobster season to traditional Christmas dining in winter.
Petersons Krog is open on weekends from Easter through Christmas, and daily throughout the summer season.

Simsons wine café
Located in the heart of the harbour, just a few steps from the ferry landing, Simsons Wine Café is a popular gathering place for both island residents and summer visitors.
