Käringön’s tennis court is located at the far end of the harbour, beautifully positioned between the sea, the fish market and the mini golf course. Here, you can enjoy a game of tennis in a unique archipelago setting, surrounded by fresh sea air and the relaxed atmosphere of island life.

Football
Located at Myra in the heart of the island, Käringön’s football pitch offers a natural grass field and plenty of space for both casual kickabouts and organised matches. Throughout the summer, children, teenagers and adults gather here for play, training and friendly competition.
Each year, KIF hosts the popular Myra Cup, a much-loved summer tradition that brings together island residents, summer visitors and guests for a day filled with football, fun and community spirit.

SUP & kayaking
Paddling around Käringön is one of the best ways to experience the archipelago. Here, the open waters and dramatic granite cliffs of the outer archipelago give way to sheltered bays, narrow passages and calmer waters between the islands.
Whether you choose a SUP board or a kayak, you’ll enjoy unforgettable nature experiences, adventures on the water and the chance to discover places that can only be reached by sea. Both SUP boards and kayaks are available for hire on the island.

Mini golf
Challenge family and friends to a round of mini golf by the harbour. The nine-hole course offers plenty of fun, tricky obstacles and friendly competition, whether you're playing just for fun or aiming for victory.
With the sea, boats and the lively summer atmosphere of the harbour as a backdrop, mini golf is a favourite activity for visitors of all ages. Clubs and balls can be rented from the ice cream kiosk by the harbour.

Group training & outdoor gym
Throughout the summer, group fitness sessions are held at Myra several times a week. Suitable for a range of fitness levels, these workouts are a great way to combine exercise, fresh sea air and a sense of community.
Myra is also home to an outdoor gym that is open and free for everyone to use. With nature as your training ground and the archipelago as your backdrop, it’s the perfect place to stay active during your time on Käringön.

Boule
Located at Myra, Käringön’s boule court is a popular gathering place for both beginners and experienced players. Challenge family and friends to a relaxed game in a beautiful archipelago setting, where friendly competition and plenty of laughter are all part of the experience.
The boule court is open to everyone and free to use.

Running
Käringön may be small in size, but the island offers a surprising variety of trails, rocky paths and scenic running routes. For those looking to venture beyond the roads, there are exciting trails across granite outcrops, over smooth rock formations and along the coastline.
With the Naturpasset orienteering map, you can combine running with exploration as you search for checkpoints around the island. It’s a fun and active way to discover hidden corners of Käringön that many visitors never get to see.
